EARLY KODACHROME PHOTOS
Yesterday, I read this article in the Denver Post, Captured: America in Color 1939 - 1943, which show wonderful color photos taken during the Great Depression of rural America. The photographs are the property of the Library of Congress and were included in a 2006 exhibit Bound for Glory: America in Color. Click here to read.

The colors in these can be especially vivid and jewel-like. Often they include the processing date on the back, which helps to put the photo into some sort of historical context. It is rare to find Kodachromes in paper form (you see many Kodachrome slides) and even rarer to find good ones, so to be able to enjoy such great examples is a treat! Thanks for sharing.
