GAY COUPLE ROGER & FRANK + FRIENDS 1940s-1950s PHOTOS
My friend Maria found this lot of 54 photos of men, which appears to have belonged to a couple, Roger & Frank. The photos date from the mid 1940s to the mid 1950s, and they are all snapshots, except for one 5" x 7." Many are identified on the back and include "us," Newport RI, Provincetown (Race Point), Nantucket, Old Lyme, "at Wally & Noel's New Years," Central Park, Andover, Surfiside Beach, etc. A rare look at a gay couple when it was taboo. Listed on ebay ending on March 2nd. Roger & Frank for sale on ebay

CIRCASSIAN BEAUTIES
Known for their wild dos, these "Moss-Haired" girls were popularized by Circus man P.T. Barnum as a sideshow attraction in the 19th century. I've been collecting Circassian cabinet cards and cdvs for a number of years. I imagine that if I had lived at that time, my hair would be quite similar to theirs. Ah, the wonders of hair-gel.
